Adroit Technologies have been in the business of developing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) software for close on 20 years. For the first 10 years of its life the Company developed a DOS based product TURBOLINK and MUL-T-LINK before committing to the Microsoft NT platform and the current Microsoft Windows version Adroit.

Found in virtually every industrial sector ranging from Nuclear to Food and Beverage the product has been a huge success. Not only does Adroit compete successfully in both the African and international markets, it has become the product of choice for users in mainstream as well as lesser-known industrial sectors.

Some very unique differences exist between Adroit and it’s competitors; openness, scalability and ease-of-use being just three.

The product is steeped in the Microsoft technologies and as a Microsoft Certified Partner we enjoy a very close working relationship with Microsoft both locally and internationally.

In 1999 the company was won the award from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for outstanding Industrial Innovation, in the small business category. In 2002 Adroit Technologies joined the “Proudly South African” campaign as a Founding Member.

In late 2003 Cimnet .Inc, a NASDAQ listed company who develop a very successful configurable Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software product, named Factelligence, acquired a stake in the Adroit Technologies Company. As part of the agreement Cimnet will be developing the next version of Factelligence using Adroit’s new Microsoft .NET user interface framework, VIZNET.

This very exciting phase of the Company will see the joint offering of a world class HMI and MES solution that will span the space between the shop floor and the enterprise.
