Adroit 7.0 had won the third prize in Product of
the Year 2008 competition by Control Engineering Polska, in the category “Data
integration and software”, achieving 7.15 points. It had been applied by At
Control System, our regional distributor in Poland. 
Innovation, solidity, the usefulness - these are
the traditional criteria, which decided about victory in the competition Product
of the Year 2008 of the Control Engineering Polska readers. This time in
tournament took part above 60 equipment items, network solutions and programs
from the segment of industrial automation.
Adroit 7.0 Scada software left behind NET System
etiquette (elPLC) and Wonderware MES (Wonderware). The competition between the
three top products was very tight: the second place took Automation Studio 3.0
achieving 7.75 points and the first place won GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms
getting only 0.88 point more than Adroit did. 
The conquest of the title Product of Year 2008
requires passage by several stages. Above all, each notification is verified by
experienced engineers on innovation, the usability and on influence in market.
It happens that they take decision to reject an notification considering too low
technological level represented by a definite product.
Jury had to choose maximum three equipment items,
systems, and programs in each category. The selected trio passed to the end, in
which about victory decided the readers Control Engineering Polska. For several
weeks they could give notes to 24 products in eight categories. In the majority
of cases the choice of readers agreed with the opinion of
redaction.
